I let it sit for another 5 minutes as I thought the smell would disappear, like most foundations do. Once the foundation had been applied and set, I could still smell the fragrance really bad. I did have to set my face with a powder as it was quite “dewy” on my skin, but I have to set every foundation generally with a powder. I have a feeling though, if I had needed to go in and apply a third coat, that it would have gone a little patchy in areas, but my skin isn’t the best at the moment so doubt I would need 3 coats on a normal day-to-day basis. On me I applied 2 coats and it did a good job at covering my blemishes on my chin. It has good coverage, I would say medium-buildable to an extend. Fragrance doesn’t usually bother me, so I went ahead and applied it with a flat top brush, stippling it into the skin. When I pumped the foundation out on to the back of my hand, I was overwhelmed with the strong scent of the fragrance within the foundation. The consistency is thick, giving off the impression it would be full coverage. The colour match is good, a slight bit darker for my skin, but nothing a lighter foundation mixed within couldn’t fix. The shade I purchased is in Porcelain, I was not too sure how dark the colour range would be, also what colour undertones it would have. You wouldn’t think this foundation only costs around $6.00 AUD. Heavy frosted glass bottle, with a matte black velvet feeling lid and also has a pump. On the website I am not too sure if the packaging has been changed or if IHerb has a typo on their website as it is stated to have 0.8oz (23ml) of product within the foundation, but on the actual bottle itself, there is actually 0.68oz (20ml) – So not much difference, but just thought Id put that out there! This foundation is $6.00 AUD, has SPF 15 and claims to be oil free. 1 online beauty marketplace cosmetics club, makeup, skincare, hair care and fragrances online retailer.Įstablished in 2008 The Beauty Club has grown to become Australia's leading online beauty, skincare, make up & perfume marketplace with over 70,000 products online, Join The Beauty Club today.īeauty News / Beauty Trends: Cheap By Terry Skincare | Patchology Skincare | After Sun Care | Easy Blowout Tutorial | Party Prep Tips | Anti Aging Retinols | It's Suncare Season: spring into new SPF | The Ordinary Back in Stock-up Retailer Skincare | Foreo Beauty Devices | Hylamide Skincare | COSRX Acne Patches | QRxLABS New Skincare Brand | Dr.About a fortnight ago, I placed an IHerb order and just got a few bits and bobs from E.L.F and I will be sure to do more reviews on the other E.L.F products I brought soon enough, if you are interested in seeing what I brought, head over to my Instagram, I posted a photo of all the products I brought!
